

There is alot to learn with Maschine just by itself. the automation writing and just workflow as a whole i feel is more superior where as a DAW like Ableton provides one of the best workflows for composition and live performance ( you would also have to buy Main Stage to unlock these capabilites in Logic).

you wouldnt be wrong for using Maschine in maybe Cubse or Reason and then transferring everything to Logic Pro X and here is why: Logic Pro has one of the best mixing and Mastering workflows of the DAWS on the market, along with incredible mixing and mastering plugins built in.
